BLACK POINTS

To begin, we'll discuss the so-called Black Points, an unusual method of registering traffic violations. If a driver receives 24 or more Black Points in a year, their license will be suspended for three months. If it happens again, the license will be revoked for a period of up to six months. The license will be revoked for a year after the third offense and will only be reinstated if the driver successfully completes a driving course. Black Points are only used by drivers with local licenses, but tourists should be aware of this system as well.
